Dogs

Teddy in the Escot Bluebell Woods

Not everyone is comfortable with dogs, and we are therefore not able to accommodate any additional dogs. The only dog in attencdence is Teddy, who will be on bestest behaviour and wearing his smartest outfit.

Access requirements

Most of the areas of the venue are wheelchair accessible, including the reception rooms and an accessible bedroom with bathroom. Please do let us know if you have accessibility needs so we can plan for your stay.

Sustainability

We are trying to reduce the environmental impact of the wedding, including limiting single-use items and using in season plant-based food. The venue, Colehayes Park, is also working to reduce their carbon footprint and plastic use.

Carbon emissions from travel are likely to be the single biggest source of emissions associated with the wedding (we estimate that this is likely to be between 70% to 95%), so we encourage you to think about ways to reduce emissions. For example, if you are travelling from abroad have you considered travelling by rail or ferry?!

Dress Code

Please wear formal clothes that you will be comfortable in.

Catering

As part of our celebration of each other and our shared values, all of the wedding will be prepared with vegan food. We have lots of exciting dishes being prepared by our caterer, Vegan Magda!

The main meal will be in a buffet format.

If you have any allergies, intolerances, or other dietary requirements please let us know as soon as possible and we can discuss what options would work best for you. Alternative options can be prepared, including from a children’s menu.

Picnic blankets

If the weather permits, we’re hoping to enjoy our meal outside. If you’d like to - bring your picnic blanket with you!

Children

Children are very welcome throughout the celebration.
